  • 2 large eggs

  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cookie Layer Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1  large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1  cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Making the Brownie Layer:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • 3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until combined.
  • 4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  • 5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until well combined
  • 6. Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and set aside.

Making the Cookie Layer:

  • 1. In another bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 2. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix well.
  • 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • 4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
  • 5. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.

Combining the Layers:

  • 1. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough on top of the brownie batter in the pan.
  • 2. Gently spread or swirl the cookie dough over the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
