The chimichurri Burger is hands down the best I’ve ever eaten. Inspired by Gordan
Ramsay’s steak PR preparation techniques, I treated the steakhouse-sized burger with the
same level of care and precision. The result was nothing short of amazing. To elevate the
flavors even further, I added coffee-caramelized onions and a freshy madr chimichurri sauce.
Thease extra touches transformed the burger into an extraordinary culinary experience .
Consider the all the ways you can cook a burger: grilling, griddling, frying, broiling, or even
air frying. Currently, the trendy method is to smash the burger. But what if I told you threre’s
an even better way to cook a burger – one you might not have considered before?

we used mild grated pepper jack cheese.

● Programmable Induction Stove (optional)
Ingredients:
● 2.5 Pound 80/20 ground Beef
● 5 Kaiser Roll
● 0.63 cup stone Ground Mustard Aioli
● 10 Ounces Pepper Jack Cheese Shredded
● 5 Tbsp Butter
● 5 Cloves Garlic
● 2.5 Spring Rosemary
Chimichurri sauce:
● 2.5 Cup Parsley
● 1.25 Cup Olive Oil
● 5 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
● 7.5 Garlic Cloves ( finely chopped)
● 5 Tbsp. Red Bell Pepper ( finely chopped)
● 2.5 Tsp Dried Oregano
● 2.5 tsp Red Pepper Chili Flakes
● 2.5 Tsp Kosher Salt
● 1.25 tsp Black Pepper
Caramelized Onions
● 1 Large White Onion
● 2 Tbsp Butter
● 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
● ½ Cup Black Coffee
● Salt and Black Pepper
Directions:
Step 1:
Begin by slicing one large white onion into thin slice. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet
over medium heat. Add the sliced onions to the hot pan, cooking them gently until they are
lightly browned. Incorporate ¼ cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of
black pepper, stirring the mixture and cooking until it becomes syrup and the onions are
softened. Pour in 1 cup of coffee and continue cooking, stirring often, until the coffee has
evaporated and the onions are completely soft. Set the mixture aside.
Step 2:
Prepare the chimichurri by finely chopping one head of parsley, mincing three garlic cloves,
and dicing 2 tablespoons of red bell pepper. In a bowl, combine these ingredients with ½ cup
of olive oil, tablespoons of red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, 1 teaspoon of red
chili flakes, and ½ teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well, then refrigerate the chimichurri until
the burger’s ready.
Step 3:
Shape the burgers into 1-inch thick patties, each weighing 8 ounces. Generously Season the
patties with 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Preheat a frying pan to
375 degrees. Place the burgers in the hot pan and cook for 3 minutes on one side. Flip the
burgers and add 2 tablespoons of butter, 2 garlic cloves, and a sprig of rosemary to the pan.
Allow the garlic and rosemary to infuse the melted butter, then begin spooning the sauce
over the tops of the burgers. Continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Remove the pan from
the heat, loosely cover the burgers with foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Step 4:
Halve the Kaiser rolls and lightly toast them. Spread 2 tablespoons of stone ground mustard
aioli on the bottom half of each bun. Check the internal temperature of the burgers to ensure
they reach 140 degrees F, then transfer them from the pan to the buns. Top each burger with
the caramelized onions and a slice of pepper jack cheese. Melt the cheese over the burger,
then finish by adding a generous spoonful of chimichurri sauce.
Step 5:
Place the top bun over the burger and gently press down to secure all the ingredients in
place.
